Our website seems to have quite alot of webmasters coming along and asking for affiliate links. Obviously adding countless of worthless site links to our site and vice versa is damaging to our sites ranking - so, we want to add a 'payment system' on our site, and create a small directory for each link.
The other reason for this is our sister company does the same, recently adding a payment system. My boss owns the parent company, while he runs this company, another family member runs the other business at the opposite end of the country. So we are trying to do a bit of catch-up, as their site was up and running about a year before ours. Their traffic is much higher than hours, as is their sales. But, it's the bosses nephew who runs their site, and he wants to beat us in a 'personal dual', so we're looking to outdo them in all aspects, so obviously any input you can give is much appreciated.
For example, http://www.linkdirec....com/submit.php - this has the exact same idea as we want, where you enter all the details, if you select to pay for submission, you get added to our links pages - if not, then, well, 99% of the time, screw them. But, hopefully it would deter useless websites asking for backlinks as well as generate a little revenue so we can add ourselves to more paid-for directories.
So I'm looking for the simple solution - does anyone know how to create such a form, which actually links into Paypal/payment service provider etc?
My aim is to create a sub directory. Click 'Affiliates' on our site, then you are given a directory - eg. Food. Music. Shopping etc. Then each directory has sub directories with the actual links in them. Is this a good idea also?
