I'm re-posting this since my previous post a couple of days ago hasn't had any replies.

I'm trying to get my new Windows Vista laptop to talk to my Windows XP PC. I've followed the instructions in Windows Help, including setting up an account on each machine with same name and removing the password protected function, but they still can't see each other.

The network worked fine when both my machines were XP. Can anybody help please?

Many thanks,
Sharon
