OK so £200 = about $400 USD, just to get the convention down.
What do you do? Do you game? Do you want DirectX 10 to play all of the new kickass games that are coming out like World in Conflict or Crysis? Also what is your current Video card and other system specs? CPU, amount of RAM, current vid card, Wattage of your power supply, and if you can but not necessary the RPM of your hard drive.

The 8800GTS 320mb is a great card. I have the 640mb version, it is more expensive and is only worth it if you are running it on a large monitor. The best card on the market is the GeForce 8800 GTX but is very expensive For ~$500 or ~£250. The 8800GTS is a better bang for your buck though.

ATI's DirectX 10 cards are not quite as good as the Nvidia but are still good. I would go with the 8800 GTS 320mb.

what wattage PSu would i need?

Well what are you planing to run it with CPU, RAM,...?

Edit:

also how much is the NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS OC 320MB card?

Do you have a site/retailer in mind? Usually ~$280 or ~£140 for you.

550W-600W and I would highly recommend Antec PSUs. Antec make some of the most reliable and efficient PSU with a good bang for your buck.

ONLY BUY FROM WELL KNOWN PSU MANUFACTURES!!!

If you do not plan to go SLI then the ABIT IP35-E LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard is pretty good for $115 or ~£60. GIGABYTE also makes some good P35 boards.

Hi _PuRe_! Here's my suggestions:

EVGA graphics card 196.21
Gigabyte motherboard 73.99
Antec power supply 79.95

If you would also like to upgrade your processor, I recommend this: Intel processor 115.68
