I was asked to help setup this new blackberry phone, but I am only familiar with Palm and Windows Mobile. I figure its going to be similar but they want email, and I am not sure how to go about it. I have heard that you get an email account from blackberry if you buy their phone.

Anyone familiar with this process?

Thanks

The ironic part is that it cannot connect to our exchange server but it is for work so I have to do it. Usually we use the employees ISP to create a traveling account. He does not have one and mentioned that blackberry has email servers her could use.

ah...then that would work...i think each seperate provider has a bit different of a setup...so you'll need to find that out

also check this out http://www.msexchang...ials/MF015.html for forwarding his mail from his work address out to an outside address (such as the one that his blackberry will connect to) a bit easier than him giving out two different addresses
