Unique Problem

Hoping someone will be able to help me out.

I installed Windows Live messenger about a year ago and noticed that it my internet would keep disconnecting. Figured since it was the only new thing I installed, I would try revert back to MSN 7.5. After reverting back to 7.5, I had no problems and my internet stayed connected.

Now recently, Microsoft wouldnt allow me to connect using 7.5, saying I had to upgrade to WLM. So I did, and the problem has now returned. What is odd about this problem, is that my MSN will constantly stay connected, but I will be unable to view any websites at all.

I am using my internet through a router, a Netgear WPN824, and the firmware is up to date. I use Norton Anti-Virus.

Any help would be really appreciated, thank you:)
