BACKGROUND INFORMATION - Reading through the second page of the thread linked below will provide some insight as to what may be causing the problem. The best of it is found in the WinPFind3u.exe log, which is also upon the second page. Essentially, my computer is very slow. Sometimes it comes and goes. I used to be able to run multiple graphics programs without any issues. Now, it can be tough to run even one. The Windows defrag takes several days and still doesn't get anywhere. So a complete defrag using the Windows defrag is really not an option. The JKDefrag takes approximately eight hour or more. I'm actually performing one now, and I'm at about seven hours and counting (not that it seems to help with the speed very much at this point). Performing a CHKDSK, the computer gets to 4 of 5 and makes it only 22% before it seems to stop.
