Call of Duty 2(Video card or driver doesn't support alpha blending

Call of duty 2 worked in my computer in the past then i uninstalled and then i reinstalled later and now it wont work.

It says Error during initialization: Video card or driver doesn't support alpha blending.

could someone please help me

alpha blending means your video card isn't supported by the game. This typically happens because your using intergrated video. Do you know what your video card is?

choose your video game and see what it says after the test has been run.

i figured it out i just had to update my driver from ati.com not dell.com
