I have decided to go ahead and replace my motherboard and my graphic card but sense the computer store sold me the wrong thing I dont know what to look for can somebody help me out, I would like to get a better one if possible then maybe I wont have to bug ya'll anymore. I started looking on ebay but didn't know what I was looking for I didn't know it would be so complicated, Thank you.

Can you give us any idea of a budget? I have to admit, the 478 socket motherboards would be hard to find now days, and it would be hard to spend your hard-earned on out-of-date technology.
If the budget is just enough to cover those two things, we'll give it our best shot. Can you tell us what the store told you?
Preferably don't buy from eBay, it's easy to grab something that's faulty. Even if you buy from an eBay "shop", if it is faulty you have to pay for postage back to them for them to replace it... You get stung that way
Cheers
