Italics font problem

Certain items like searches, AIM, and certain programs, etc. appear in italics. The font is all italics and I can't seem to get it fixed. I've gone into properties> appearance> advanced> but it seems everything is in order. I've tried everything i know and i have a feeling this could be a script error. I'm using the newest version of Mozilla Firefox. Ive included a small sample of a search in the attachment.
