I want to create a batch file that updates the computers description. Is there a way to do that as well as to automatically pull the logged on users full name into it, without creating a seperate one for each user?

well.... the environmental variable for username is %username% (type echo %username% in a cmd prompt)


everything i see for changing the description involves using VB script though

yea thats what I was afraid of. it would be easier to do it manually then get the script together. Also I was trying to pull the whole user name like from the top of the start menu.
