I recently ran a Norton scan that identified Dialer.generic as a threat. The scan refered me to the website, which basically said locate and delete the file. I cannot locate the file and cannot therefore delete it.

I went on a live chat on Norton and the technician asked me to allow him to dial into the PC which I'm not happy with.

How do I remove this threat. I'm using Windows XP on a PC about 12 months old

I have followed the "Must read this" and have been declared clean by AVG and SUPERantispyware. I got the following report from Panda though

Just run Panda again and got an increase.
