Hello,
The problem is that i have a rather large project i am working on, and there are a lot of, well i suppose nested states would be a proper term.
however i don't think it works that way. ie. in the main application there are several state switches that load external components that i have built.
these components also contain states. i would like to be able to communicate between main and the loaded component, such as returning to the main
state from the component from within that same component.

here is an example of that. does anyone know how to access the parent state that everything started out with?

well cancel this one, i am sure there is a way, but i have a hack for it so i will use that till i can clean up the code and make it
apart of the classes.
this involves setting the button up ouside the called states and making the button apart of the main parent state and then bringing it to the top
on the called state index order. simple yet effective, though i will continue to look for a more functional solution.
