The power is connected & The Light is on in the HD
its connected to the computer through USB and won't work on ANY Pcs.

I think i messed up the Power Supply wire or the Port

Iv tried using a different wire (that works with my friends external) with the same ends and it wont even light up (turn on)

I'm confused and have no idea what the problem is. If i should buy another power supply wire/ and which one should I buy so this wire at least recognizes.
