Please disregard my previous post...got a little ahead of myself there.

Okay, I've followed your instructions and still can't connect to the internet. With each 5 that were selected, I was still able to get into windows beyond the login screen. It seems that maybe it's one of the Microsoft services.

I think I finally found it...the Microsoft service that appears to be causing the crashes is the one entitled "Wireless Zero Configuration"

What is the make and model of the card.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the latest Drivers of that card. See if that helps.

This computer actually came with an "Instant Wireless-B PCI Adapter". I don't have a disk for it, by the way. So when I uninstall it, how can I reinstall the driver for this adapter?

Totally Frustrated,

Do you know the make and exact model of the wireless network card that you are using?

If not please Download and run WinAudit on the machine. Save a report in HTML format and e-mail it to me. This will generate three files, you need to send only the file named rightframe.html (right.html on some machines) Send Me a PM with the file as a attachment.

Please follow these Instructions for generating a WinAudit Report.

I don't know the make and exact model of the wireless card. I've run WinAudit and have the 3 files saved. But I'm having trouble attaching the requested file to the PM. The file is more than 500Kb (956Kb) in size.
