I have a ps3, and instead of using it with my tv, i want to hook it up to my 30 inch monitor ( http://accessories.u...mp;sku=222-7175 ), so my family doesn't interrupt my gaming, lol. The monitor uses VGA (i believe), so I can buy a vga to HDMI converter and plug my ps3 in and such, correct? I really hope I can do this, this monitor is the only other decent-size screen besides the one i'm using now which my family always makes me get off so they can watch TV. I'm wondering how I would get sound though. Any ideas?

EDIT: What if i got a good vid card with an HDMI port in it? Could i play then..once again, how would i get sound?

I found this video card: http://www.xfxforce....atureId=1094899

So i would plug my ps3 in and my monitor in and it would work, right?
