Hi,

My system is windows 98. My Norton antivirus has been busy detecting and repairing files that are said to be infected by Trojan StartPage M every time i am online (or logon to the internet). It has a certain pattern. There will always be two files detected of being infected by the trojan and files will be from folders:

c:\windows\system or
c:\windows
c:\
c:\windows\temporary internet files

I am not sure this is caused by the trojan itself or other malwares.

here is my HijackThis log file, would you please help me to detect where is the real source of the problem, many thanks for your time and help. One more question, what should i do with the already deleted and backup files (23 of them) in the Norton backup folder? Have tried restoring them but warning message said 'you will be returning infected files...'. Some files seem to be important (e.g. mssys.exe). Thanks again!
