I have tried to post multiple times, but I keep getting rejected because I am using a newer version of Hijackthis. The error is telling me to use an older version (1.99 instead of 2.00), but it also says I need a newer version??? In any event, I am trying to help my daughter from 230 miles away to clear an infection of some kind. I think it is downloader-BEW based on the inclusion of whataboutadog in her trusted zone and the creation of multiple BAK files.

Do I really need to get her to load 1.99 and rerun Hijackthis or can we find a way to get your system tio accept 2.00? Thanks.
