Hi i havent bought a video card yet, but im still curious as to why my youtube videos are still very slow to load? with the PSU and 1.5gb of ram surely it should be loading quicket? thanks.

There could be a variety of things causing youtube to load slowly, you'd probably get a better response to ask it in the internet forum.

As for your last post, never got a e-mail notification and if I did, I somehow forgot to click the link within it. Sorry.
Now for the answers

If your RAM was dead you'd be having more issues, like BSOD, corrupted registry, windows would fail to boot.

More RAM always equals better performance, load times will be shorter, but gains with FSP would be minimal.

Ah right i will ask in the internet forum thanks , however i have seen significant improvement in my FPS so i'm happy about that, i will post back in a few months as a video card is not the prioritiy for my money at the moment. thanks.

What nobody seems to have touched on is the fact that a lot of the more recent games really depend on your processor as well as your Graphics Card.

Take Half Life 2 for example, if you have a good graphics card and only a mediocre processor, you probably won't get very good FPS (For all of the "Computer Savvy" people it's not the bottleneck causing bad FPS), but if you had a REALLY good processor and only a mid range graphics card, you would get good FPS.

More and more games that are coming out are CPU dependent, and without a good CPU (Central Processing Unit, Processor for short) you won't get very good FPS on games, no matter what graphics card you have.

That will make a sweet gaming upgrade. There is no need to spend more than as that will bottleneck at your CPU already.

I'm guessing you missed that from post #16...

Only if you plan on upgrading your CPU/Motherboard/RAM in the future. Otherwise that card would be limited by CPU speed.
