help please!! can't completely uninstall nero 7!!!! i have uninstalled it, used nero cleaning tool, removed nero entries in my registry, searched my c drive for anything 'nero' or 'ahead'. the only place i see 'nero 7 ultra' is in my 'add or remove program' section from my control panel--i can't get it off there......what else can i do to fix this [bleep] nero problem...p.s i guess i should say i'm trying to install nero 8

If you try to uninstall it from Add/Remove it should give you a prompt saying that the program is missing and would you like to remove the icon from the listing. I don't know why it isn't doing that.

When all else fails I try Microsoft Installer Cleanup Utility. But you might want to try the Nero general clean up utility .

try the microsoft link below to remove it from add/remove programs. make sure to read all the warnings about editing the registry.
