system failure

i have pc that will not start up it will start and a second later stop i have cleaned the cpu and reapplyed the thermal compound,i have clean all six fans and the one on the heat sink it was running until three days ago i have not changed anything i am going to change my power supply next anybody have any help <_<




1.3 athlon 40 gig hd,512 sdram,soyo syk7vta pro mb,win98 se dvd burner,cd burner5.1 sound card and a 6n1 card reader
