Browser won't connect

On one of my computers, I can't connect to the internet, I can send and receive email though, what do you think? Cheers Ray

What exactly does it says ??? Or it just shows you the PAGE NOT FOUND link ???

The browser, IE or Maxthon2, both say "connecting" but never do. As I said my email program works fine and my anti virus is able to update itself. Thanks Ray

I tried deleting and reinstalling both browsers, no change. Tried a few earlier restore points no change.
