I have a bunch of .oma files that I want to play (all for good reason, don't worry), but I can't seem to find anything that works. Help, anyone?

What programs have you tried? And can you not convert them to mp3 or the like?

dunno if this helps

-------------------------------------------------

These files are in Sony's ATRAC3 format. There appears to be several ways to read/convert these files. One is to use a program like SonicStage to burn them to a CD. Then, use whatever program you like to rip the audio off the CD and convert to whatever format suits. You should also be able to use the original Sony software with the Tools | Options | CD Recording | Select Format menu to convert to a .WAV CD format which can then be ripped. Can be played with SonicStage 2.1+

VLC plays everything, no need for codecs.
