Supreme Commander Error

So I installed Supreme Commander and updated it and everything and when i ran it i got this error."Please video hardware meets minimum specifications. Please ensure system has current video drivers. I did a test on Sys Req Labs and everything was perfect except the OS. Im pretty sure i have the most up to date drivers. My card is an HD 2900 XT and I have Catalyst 7.10. Please help I really want to play this game.

make sure you have the latest patches for the game. If you do, then you will need to contact them. You card shouldn't have any issues supporting it.

I figured it out. Just to let u know the actual problem occured when i installed the patched. But I uninstalled it and then found a fix. Then installed it and coincidentally it worked after it was all patched so I didnt need to use the fix.
