I have an old emachines computer in my room and I just used my recovery cd to get a clean xp install. The recovery process finished with no errors. I went through the wizard but when I got to the part where I name my computer for a network it freezes. I can still move my mouse and click on the little help icon but it never loads past this screen. If anyone knows how to fix this problem I would appreciate it. Thanks

Gruzzle Buzzle,

Hello and welcome to GeekstoGo. First I would make sure the cd is clean. If the cd is clean and it still fails to load and install I would contact emachines for a new disk.
