Missing Bookmarks in firefox

I reinstalled XP and my Firefox bookmarks are lost in space. Does anyone know the format they are kept in so I can search for the file in my system??

"bookmarks.html" is the file you want, need to search in hidden files and folders. This method assumes you didn't format the hard drive, however.

Default path should be:

C:\Documents and Settings\[YOUR WINDOWS USERNAME]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\[RANDOM NAME].default\bookmarks.html
