I tested the mouse on other computers i had.It worked perfectly fine and smooth.(haha)
But when i tested other mouse(like 2 other) on my laptop,it didnt work. But theres light on the optic sensor.
Possibility of Faulty UBS is ruled out.( tested with HDD and Thumbdrive,Works perfectly fine)

Hi wizmaster,

Lets go ahead and make sure all your hardware is registered and working correctly. With the mouse plugged in.

To make sure that windows says all the devices are working correctly we need to check device manager.

Click on start.
Click on Run.
Type in devmgmt.msc and press enter.

Do you see any X,yellow ! ,?.
