welcome uptown, lets take a look at whats running on your computer...where gonna use a free diagnostics tool called HiJack This that can be found in my signiture, please download the program, close all open windows and programs, run the program, save the log and post it back on here... DO NOT delete anything from that log or modify any of the things that apper, most of it is either harmless or essential to your computer <_<

Please Download LSPFix from http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm and Run the Program. Disconnect from the Internet and close all Internet Explorer Windows. Check the "I know what I'm doing" Button and remove all traces of [xfire_lsp.dll]. Reboot.

Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.

Sure, you can leave it. It's sometimes hard to identify which broken O10 entries are legitimate.

Also, what do i do with these backup files?

give it about a week and if everything seems good then you can delete them.

Also, can i set my homepage back to my default?

Yes. Right now it should be www.dell.com but if you want to change it then go to tools->internet options in Interet Explorer.
