I just donwloaded gzip from the GNU project homepage. I have tried 4 different versions, and none opens properly, although some open on a limited DOS-version, allowing me to print Y or N, and answer whether I want to replace some programs. Replacing them doen'st make a difference.

I would like to download some .gz files, and I can't..

Thanks for any help

There's a free tool called "7-Zip" which can open .gz files. Get it here: http://www.7-zip.org/
