Running Windows XP Home.

My problem is, when I boot up, my desktop is part missing.
My left side of my screen is only part there.
Left row of icons are missing, the other rows are there.
Not actually missing all together, but hidden.
Only rt of my start button is visible.
Can't seem to fix this.
Any help please.
Thank-You
John

There should be adjustment buttons or dials on your monitor, can you use those to shrink your screen down to fit.

Thanks for your help.
I used the buttons on the monitor and so far that worked.
I don't know how that could of happened.
I never touched anything on the monitor.
Thanks again,
John
