partitioning external harddrive

Hello all,

I have used G-parted to partition my external harddrive. I made three primary stations: I,J, and K. Is this correct? Is it better to make logical partitions of them?

either method would be sufficient and does pretty much the same thing....if you've got the 3 partitions you were hoping ot h ave...and they're functional...then...job's done
