Could someone pls help me fixin my PC... started when i disabled IE Firewall to play an online game. After that whenever i try to browse the net my IE goes down and cannot display pages after few minutes of browsing... Well i tried to scan my PC from Ad-Aware and Spy Sweeper but sadly it doesnt fix anything... BTW when my PC loads up at startup my Spy Sweeper detect a Windows Desktop Controler loading at my startup phase, and for me to check its exe name, i tried to open TaskManager but it fails to load up, my regedit wont load too. i have to rename them before they load, Even my Hijackthis.exe fails but after renaming it it works fine.. Pls someone pls help me fi my PC.. Thnx in advance for those who will pass by this post....

Hello and welcome to Geeks To Go.

You have a number of different problems that I can see. Lets start out with some general scans and see if we cant clean things up a little.

Please download Spybot Search & Destroy and AdAware.

Follow all the instructions on this website to run a scan with both of these softwares.

Please run an on-line virus scan at Kaspersky OnLine Scan or if that doesnt work, you can use TrendMicro or BitDefender. (Please post the results of the scan(s) in your next reply)

After that, I will need to see two different logs from HiJackThis. The first is the normal log like you posted here. To get the other one, follow these directions.

Open HijackThis, click Config, click Misc Tools
Click "Open Uninstall Manager"
Click "Save List" (generates uninstall_list.txt)
Click Save, copy and paste the results in your next post.

Post back with those logs and we can continue from there.

Good Luck
