windows system files problem

when we turn on the computer it loads the Prosecor and then stops at a black screen saying that its missing an important system file, and the directory is in the system 32 folder, something like system32/systemconfig or something, anyway i would appreciate all help so my other computer can start working again thank you.

What is the "Prosecor" ?

What kind of CDs do you have for reloading the OS ? How are these CDs titled ?

What manufacturer and model number of PC do you have ?
