Would I be able to upgrade my laptop with a new graphics card? I contacted a geeksquad rep. and he told me i would have to buy a new laptop, his reason being that they don't sell graphics cards for laptops.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

(i would also like to know how much a new graphics card would cost, if i could buy one that is)

Generally not possible, a new laptop would be needed.
The only upgradeable bits in a laptop are memory, hard drive, optical drive, occasionally the processor and on occasion you may have room to add an internal device (such as wireless for example). But that's generally about it.
