[B]Can someone please help me figure out how to reinstall my OS in Dos mode or period. I let my brother reformat my hard drive and it is clear but it only starts in DOS mode and we dont know what commands to type in[/B]

welcome to GTG
boot with a boot disk starting with cdrom support
At a:/ type setup with OS disk in cd-rom or you can try at a:/ in dos mode type
cd (your cdrom drive letter) with OS disk in drive then at your cd-rom drive letter type setup
