advanced system information

Everytime I try to view he advanced system information I keep getting thrown back to the help and support page. If I click on the support button on the taskbar it opens and the link to the advanced sytem information is their If I click on it I go back to the original window??? what is happening here. I have already run the sfc scannow and nothing, it still happens. Vivienne

I do not find an Advanced option in System Information. Is it possible that you intend System Properties? This is the one with tabs for System Restore and Automatic Updates and others. It has an Advanced tab.

If so, is yours an Administrator account? That may be the issue.
