.

Hi all.

I have a question regarding Windows 3.1.

After I install the 6 disks and when I reboot my system, after rebooting it goes into MSDOS. What command do I use so it boots from the hard drive?

Your help would be much appreciated.

Regards,

.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I'm trying to set it up for my son. Just so he can see how Windows used to be.

I'm going to give it a go.

Just enter win, you can edit the, I believe it is, config.sys file, maybe the autoexec.bat file, to load windows on boot.

I'm only 15, but I remember 3.1 with lemmings, that was the way to grow up.

you can also as suggested above add it to the autoexec.bat file if you want it to come up on startup... also if you put the windows directory in the path all you should have to type is "win"
