Im looking at graphics cards at the moment but i haven't got a PCI express sot. I have 1 spare PCI and 1 spare AGP slot. Any ideas about what card i should get my info is this-

2 GHz celeron
768 PC2100 Ram
1024x768 resolution

I dont really want to spend that much money prob £70 at most. I don't want to play all the lastest games in stunning graphics as long as they run and look ok I'll be happy. Will this card work with my motherboard(motherbaord details below, hyperlink to card).

http://www.savastore...207&rstrat=3160

The SiS 650 IGUI HMAC 3D Graphic SDR/DDR Chipset features
Processor Host/Bus support (400 MHz data transfer rate)
Supports DDR 266/200 SDRAM or PC 133/100 SDRAM
AGTL+ and AGTL compliant bus driver auto compensation
AGP 2.0 compliant
Supports additional AGP 4X/2X interface and Fast Write Transaction

Im only asking that last bit because the specs dont mention anything about 8x.

Thanks for any help thats giving.

I put a system together last summer using this exact card and it still plays a ton of games very well. (read the user reviews) This of course is only one of many brands available using the Radeon 9600 chipset (IN YOUR $$ RANGE) so look around and see what you like.

But for that money i wouldn't settle with a 2x4 AGP Slot (IMO)
