hi guys I have a problem, I was having problems installing flash player , after some troubleshooting from adobe website I restarted the system , and windows begins to boot ,the black windows logo starts and then It changes to the blue microsoft windows screen and then it freezes ,it doesn't continues to the log in screen. I haved tried on safe mode but the same problem persits . I also tried a windows repair but that also fail . I ran chddsk /r from te recovery console and evething ran ok
can some one help .
I forgot to mention the xp cd is a oem from dell.

Have you tried logging into the administrator account under safe mode?

safe mode dosn't work either ,it starts loading and then its hangs on the blue microsoft splash window. I also tried to repair the installation with the dell oem installation disk ,and the same problem persits.

I can't since I do not get the log in screen in ether safe mode or regular mode

Preparing computer settings is usualy part of the OS reinstallation process. You said you only installed flash before you got this error is that correct?
