The longer version: The lockups don't seem to be related to anything but the amount of time the computer is on. I can reboot the machine and by time I go fill my coffee cup the computer is locked again. I got the 'desktop' at a yard sale so I have no maual. In fact almost everything I have came from yard sales. The reason being as all the new financial services ads say, don't outlive your money. I either didn't save enough or I've already lived too long thus the yardsales. I've searched the Logitech site and can't find any instructions as to what to delete, Geeks To Go and don't find anyone listing a similar problem, searched my computer and find no vestige of Logitech or MX3000. I'm hesitant to go to the registry and delete Logitec entries as I don't know what else might be Logitech in the computer. I have 2 other computers with 98SE networked to the problem computer but have tried unhooking them with no change in the lockups.
Any help would be appreciated,
Ken B
