AMD promised better Linux driver when they bought ATI, well they have delivered what are said to be the first improved drivers with support for the Radeon series card with 3D acceleration not available before.

For those of us who use ATI cards this is welcomed News. I'll be loading them soon on a test machine (x1650 pro card) and trying out the eye candy.
