At each start up, a screen on XP shows windows installer. A 2005 norton antivirus screen says "Norton Antivirus does not support repair. Remove and reinstall."

I don't know how to reinstall because the software was preloaded. No disks.

The windows installer shows failed each start up and I am having trouble installing new programs such as Kodak EasyShare software.

Try this-
1. Click Start, and then click Run.

2. In the Open box, type msiexec /unreg and then click OK.

3. When this process is complete, click Start, and then click Run.

4. In the Open box, type msiexec /regserver,

This works on xp not sure on other OS.
