Ok, well first of all this is my first post!
I do believe i am in the right section for posting my topic but if not i apologize

First and foremost

I am downgrading pre-loaded vista (from my dv6418ca model HP PAVILLION notebook)

Secondly
I believe I have everything set up now ( I ended up erasing my external last time! EEK)
but I want to back up my hard drive before I make the switch, naturally
however I dont know what backup tool to use

I have perused Google to no avail, as time is not on my side ATM
I was wondering I you could list your favourite Backup utilities to me
and any tip and trick to the trade

if listing retail/buyable (sp?)
software

my price range is 0-50$

Thanks,

Bryan M. :)

Currently I'm using the free trial of Acronis True Image, this is an excellent program that should let you backup everything no problems. This is a pay-for program, though there might be something else out there for free. Try using the trial, and see what happens :)
