Are there any diagnostics or tests to check if my cpu is working corectly. For some reason my cpu core load skyrockets anytime i do something on my computer.

Try Orthos, it's a good stress testing utility. It won't run a diagnostic and say "Your CPU is broken" or whatever, it just runs your CPU at 100% until you say stop. Leave it overnight, if it fails, then there's a problem somewhere with your settings or hardware. If it runs fine all night, then it sounds like a malware problem...

KK i ran a cpu stabitlity test for about 8 hrs strait nothing happened. any other ideas. if malaware is a program or virus or something. i doubt it because ive done scans and stuff and reformated and reinstalled windows on my hardrive over the weekend
