I am one of those random people out there that has used more Hard Drive than most. In fact, it's close to about 2.5 Terra bytes. I just lost a 500 GB Drive and am looking to recover the data, and it seems that it will cost $1500 to get my data back. Any ideas on how to back up this much data? DVD's can only hold so much data. Thanks in advance.

DVDs are your best option.... A lot of them. Your other option is to get another HDD but as you already know HDDs sometimes fail making your back ups useless.

Also you can get dual layer double sided DVDs which will hold 8.5GB per side for a total of 17GB of data per DVD.
