When I try to install my dlink router I get an error message that the demoshield player has encountered a problem and needs to close. I just installed Windows XP on my desktop and am not sure why I get this message it was working prior to this install.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Dave

Is the router not working? Typically a router doesn't need to be installed and the CD that comes along with it is just a tutorial for setting it up. When I google DemoShield it doesn't appear to even be networking related.

The router is working. I think the problem was with the disk. Everything is working now.
