Hi
I am using the Adaware freebie, however it has justed started doing the following. When scanning it gets as far as scanning the cookies section then the Microsoft window pops up saying threat Adaware has encountered a problem and needs to close.

Ive tried the repair option, also tried reinstalling but all to no avail.

Anyone any ideas please.

Many thanks Grandpa.

I did download an FTP programme from Cnet(?) which I later read could contain Malaware. I don't know whether the above prob is just coincidental.
