Do the files have an extension, example, .exe or .dll or whatever, can you open them, have you tried renaming them? Can you right click on the folder/file and select "Properties" and try to figure if it belongs to any running programs.

There are 3 acc'ts on there, make sure you sign in as "Administrator" to have full access.

Do you have hidden/system files and known extensions showing?

Double-click on the My Computer icon.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
After the new window appears select the View tab.
Let me know if there is a checkmark present at Display the contents of system folders.
Under the Hidden files and folders section check the radio button labeled Show hidden files and folders.

Actually I got it figured out. I tried renaming it, deleting it, moving it, etc... the problem was, it had no file extension. Had 0kb. Tried opening them in notepad and typing some random text and saving it to give the file a value (kb) Tried opening the registry, DOS, hard drive - the file did not exist! but it did however appear on my desktop...? the weirdest thing... trying to delete a file that doesn't really exist and had no values (kb) and no file extension. Like a file that was left behind during a corrupted download? Not sure how it got there. I found a tool online called 'unlocker' that allows me to delete these files. It claims that it blocks the warning from popping and allows you to delete it. So that is all done and my computer is operating great! thank you SO much for all your help!
