Receiving Landline Phone calls on my PC

Has anyone found out the answer to receiving landline calls through PC? I am avoiding all wireless tech like handsfree sets or bluetooth or WiFi or FM transmitting/receiving (an effort to minimise radiation from wireless technology in my home office).

Is this possible in 2012?
