Hi

Any suggestions on how best to backup my old hard drive before I reformat it. I just want to copy everything over?
I tried using RoboCopy Gui but it didn't work very well.
Any suggestions would be great.

thanks

If you want to copy everything, including the operating system, applications, documents etc you can clone the disk to another disk. For this you can use DriveImage XML. You can download it from my list of programs below.

Use 3rd party software like Acronis True Image
It allows to clone the hole hd. It works well for me. Also you can use it as a back up application, it is perfect thing for backing up specific files and folders, partitions and so on.
