I am currently running my computer in Safe Mode with Networking under the Administrator log on because my personal log on's desktop has been disabled [blank screen, no icons, no taskbar] I have had many problems with spyware, pop ups and viruses on my computer. I have Adware SE, Norton, etc. I have no idea how to fix this or if its even fixable. My goal is to be able to use my personal log on again so that i may access my files and back them up. Thank you in advance!

HouseCall Found the Following that were not deletable:

TROJ DLOADER.FN[cannot access] C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\picsvr\picsvr.exe
TROJ AGENT.CAC [cannot access] C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\calsp.dll

It said the files were in use.

- No icons or taskbar after logging in to Windows.

- Desktop is blank and right-click does not work.

- Ctl-Alt-Delete will pull up the task manager

- explorer.exe is not running

- when attempting to start a "new task", no programs will execute.

I've no clue what to do ! :tazz:

OS = Windows XP Home Edition
Downloaded Security Update = Service Pack 2 (for xp)

This problem happened 2 days ago while i was surfing the web. I have had lots of problems with spyware and adware. My norton antivirus finds a minimum of 15 infected files each time i run it. It doesnt not fix all files it says "delete failed" sometimes but i dont know how to manually delete these items. I have been running in safe mode with networking under the Administrator log on because my personal log on does not work in safe mode either.

I have merged all of these topics together. MAL19, please do not create multiple posts for the same issue. It creates extra work and confusion for all of the volunteers here who are trying to help with large volume of logs that we are currently experiencing.
